Charles Russell is a Regional Engineer for Cable One, West Division, in the Idaho area. Charles began his Telecommunications career in 1980 in Bogalusa, LA. He quickly progressed through the ranks of Installer, Service Technician, Lead Technician and Manager Tech. Charles has been a member of the SCTE since 1995.

​In 1998 Charles moved to Southeast Idaho and joined the TCI team in Boise, later to become AT&T then Cable One / Sparklight, working on the upgrade in the Southwest Idaho systems. When the upgrade was completed, he held the position of Field Technical Supervisor for the Advanced Technical group before taking his current position as Regional Engineer in 2018.

​Charles is married with two adult sons. When he is not working, Charles enjoys time with family and friends, camping, fishing, and riding his Harley with his wife.
